Abandoned as an adolescent on the streets of Inemar, Satrine was recruited and trained by Druth Intelligence to take the place of a Waish noblewoman and ensure the continuity of the Waish throne.\u00a0 She finished the assignment and returned to Maradaine, where she married Loren Rainey, a constabulary inspector, and settled into a normal life raising two daughters. When an attack left Loren all but dead and unable to work, to provide for him and her daughters, Satrine ressurected her espionage skills to forge credentials and get hired as an inspector at the Inemar stationhouse, where she was partnered with Minox Welling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
