Veranix Calbert

Magic student at University of Maradaine, circus-trained street vigilante in Dentonhill and Aventil.

Veranix was born and raised in a travelling circus, where he learned archery and acrobatics from his parents, before his magical abilities manifested and he was recruited to study at the University of Maradaine. Returning to the city drew the attention of Willem Fenmere, Veranix’s father’s nemesis. Fenmere killed Veranix’s father and overdosed his mother on effitte, the destructive drug Fenmere sells. Veranix uses his magic and skills to strike back at Fenmere, even stealing a delivery of magical items Fenmere was smuggling into Maradaine, becoming a true thorn in the crime boss’s side.
